The shock hasn't bottomed out, I've not ran over any curbs. I've had them for 3-4 years and I've maybe put 6500 miles on the car.
I contacted BMR, sent them pictures and they didn't seem surprised. they replied that they now send out 1/2 in aluminum plates with all their lower A arms to reinforce the shock mount. It's made out of 6061 T6 and is listed here [url="http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-bodySuspension.htm"]http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-bodySuspension.htm[/url] as a QA1 shock spacer. They sent me a set free of charge. I was advised to bend the shock mount back and install the plates and the arms would be more than adequate.
I talked to few engineers and they said they failed because it's a poor design. I have no faith in these arm.
If anyone wants them I well sell them very cheap, use at your own risk.
